The front desk staff was super sweet, offered tea, and made the process smooth.

Jamie was AWESOME- she explained everything as she taking x-rays and cleaning my teeth, and made me feel at ease (the first time I have felt like that at the dentist). She discussed whitening options with me without pushing expensive treatments. Transparency is something I value in medical situations, and Dr. Maria's team is great about it. Everyone here is easy to talk to.

As someone who has avoided the dentist for years- I'm so happy I found this gem and won't be going anywhere else. 🙂 read less

Dr.Maria herself is wonderful! So professional and nice.

I don't know if Jamie still works there (I think that's her name) but she was great.

The office and examination rooms or sparklingly clean and some of the chairs massage. So lovely.

It's right on the 57 bus and parking is pretty readily available on street. The 86 bus also goes right down the street so those in Cambridge have no excuse!

They have an amazing referral system, too. I haven't paid for a cleaning in a while because I just keep referring new patients to them. I will continue to see her even after I move away from the city, I'm sure. read less

Let's start with the front office. Appointments are easy to schedule, they even double checked my insurance coverage, and printed out estimates for the work I needed done based on estimates of my insurance benefits. For me, that was above and beyond. I can't tell you how many times offices were so reluctant to give me any type of estimate on potential work when I asked. Or they were extremely cautious, making sure I understood it was just an estimate and might not even be very meaningful due to insurance fluctuations.

My hygienist - yes, I have my own hygienist which will see me through my bi-yearly appointments. Jaymi-Lyn was so informative and gentle. I loved that she talked me through every single step of what she's checking for, what this equipment does, and what I can check for myself at home. I also ask a lot of questions so I was glad at not only how patient she was, but how thorough her answers were. It feels wonderful to know I can continue to email her with questions that may arise before my next appointment.

Dr. Vasilakis - she was equally as gentle and warm as the rest of the staff. She listened to my concerns, my issues in the past, and how I wanted to proceed in the future with her. I'm so relieved to have the future of my tooth health in the hands of this wonderful office! read less

From the moment you step into her beautifully decorated waiting room, you can tell that her first priority is to make people feel welcome and comfortable. She even furnished her exam rooms with massaging chairs – and honestly, who wouldn’t enjoy a gentle massage during a teeth cleaning? It’s refreshing to have a dentist that clearly wants to make my experience more pleasant. I would also be remiss if I neglected to compliment her staff, who go out of their way to use the new gadgets and technology available to them to teach oral care rather than harping and criticizing patients, which further exemplifies the office’s emphasis on retaining patients by making them happy. As someone who fell into the habit of avoiding the dentist for years, I’m so glad to have been referred to Dr. Maria’s and to know that I can get any dental need met at an affordable cost in an office that I genuinely enjoy visiting. read less

The staff are very professional and friendly and the office is clean and welcoming. The waiting room even had toys and books for toddlers. Our little one was not very cooperative and Dr Vasilakis and Betty were very patient with her. By the end of the appt they were actually able to get fluoride varnish painted on her teeth. I appreciated... read moreI've been a patient at this practice for about a year now. Recently, one of my fillings had been causing me pain, and eventually fell out during flossing. I appreciated their swift response - they were able to see me the same day and one of their dentists on staff set me up with a new filling. It turns out that this filling was one they had done for me just six months prior. Since their work is guaranteed for a full year beyond the date of service, my new filling work was free of charge, which took some of the aggravation out of the whole experience. Thanks! 🙂 read less

The massage chair you'll get your cleaning on is a nice touch! Dr Maria is kind, honest and professional. She's never tried to convince me I need a new filling or upsell in any way, as most other dentists have. The office is clean, bright and welcoming. They have early morning and evening appointments. I just came back from my bi-annual dental cleaning and, as usual, I am very happy with the experience. I get nervous at the dentist in general and she's very good at explaining what is being done and answering questions to ease my nerves. She's never pushy about having anything done that isn't necessary and even offers suggestions to help keep me out of the dentist office. Despite my hardest efforts, I've always had cavity prone teeth and she was the first to suggest a Ph balancing mouthwash, which has worked wonders. You can tell she cares about her patients! read less

She went above and beyond her call and was patient explaining exactly what is involved in each procedure and thoroughly walked me through each  of my options. She's so awesome that I am going to switch from my dentist half a mile away from me to instead troop the 52 minutes to her practice. 10/10 highly recommend read less
