The massage chair you'll get your cleaning on is a nice touch! Dr Maria is kind, honest and professional. She's never tried to convince me I need a new filling or upsell in any way, as most other dentists have. The office is clean, bright and welcoming. They have early morning and evening appointments. I started there because it took my insurance and was very close to where I worked at the time. I ended up leaving my previous job about two weeks after my first appointment with her. My experience with Dr. Vasilakis and the Dental Hygienists was so positive that I have chosen to stay a patient even though the office is no longer in a convenient place for me. My first visit was a cleaning, and for the first time, the procedures, cleaning process, and x-rays were all explained and shown to me. No one has ever done this for me before at a dentist office, and it was such a lovely change of pace to understand what was going on. I ended up needing some cavities filled, and Dr. Vasilakis was very thoughtful, patient, and encouraging. I was pretty nervous, but Maria was very calming and gave me plenty of Novocain, so I didn't feel a thing! She also made sure to keep asking me if I was OK or if I felt anything, which I thought was very considerate. She is by far the best dentist I've ever visited and probably the best I'll ever have. I can't recommend her enough! If you are looking for a new dentist, look no further! read less

I had a family friend dentist growing up and after moving away felt I would never be able to replicate the same level of personalized care and trust. (I bounced around to different dentists and didn't realize how important trust was until I ended up needing 3 root canals after a dentist I was seeing didn't seal my teeth properly and I got cavities under every tooth he had drilled...). That's what brought me to Dr. Maria, and I feel so lucky to have found her. Her staff is really nice, the office has massage chairs, and most importantly she is a true expert and takes time for her patients. I had a cap come off this past weekend and she replied to my email promptly (7am on a Saturday), thoroughly answered my questions, and offered to squeeze me in right away. I had the cap done while she was out on maternity leave and she even offered to redo it if it comes off again at no cost. Dr. Maria is exceptional! read less

Sidenote, I have a crippling fear of the dentist, so I don't have one. I unfortunately developed, in the middle of the night a terrible toothache. I called as soon as the office was open praying that they could see me. Fortunately for me they had an opening pretty early. Everybody was so sweet and nurturing. Dr. Maria put almost all of my nerves to rest and got me situated with what I needed to take care of. I have found my new dentist I will go here without hesitation anytime. On top of being an awesome staff they are very thorough in following up issues, have top of the line technology. From the little things to the medical elements.

In the little things for example you have the fact that they have a texting and email system to remind you if you want to. They have a Keurig coffee maker while you wait, and  the dentist chair has an option for a massage, which is amazing!!!!!!

On the medical side they have also top of the line technology, and are all very professional and knowledgable. Not only that, they keep you in the loop as to what is going on with your own health. I've been o other dentists that don't tell you but the minimum because they have so many patients.

They don't only care to treat problems with your oral health, they care to prevent problems. To give you an example: The other day after looking at an initial x-ray (which is digitalized, not printed) they took this laser pen that checks on the thickness of my enamel (I had never seen a dentist use this before). It turns out that one of my teeth seemed somewhat weak, but not quite damaged. So, they suggested that my tooth might be at risk, but that it was easy to fix changing some practices. They suggested as a preventive measure to change toothpaste, and proposed to check on it again next time. It turns out my tooth was fine the next time I came in.

So, top of the line technology allowed for prevention, their professional standards allowed them to follow up, and that's just the tip of the iceberg. The whole time I was enjoying it so much, before I even got there I got a text reminder, when I got there I got a little Keurig coffee, when they were treating me I got a massage from the chair, and when I left they made sure I had my next appointment ready, and said good bye to me with a big smile!!!! read less

From the moment you step into her beautifully decorated waiting room, you can tell that her first priority is to make people feel welcome and comfortable. She even furnished her exam rooms with massaging chairs – and honestly, who wouldn’t enjoy a gentle massage during a teeth cleaning? It’s refreshing to have a dentist that clearly wants to make my experience more pleasant. I would also be remiss if I neglected to compliment her staff, who go out of their way to use the new gadgets and technology available to them to teach oral care rather than harping and criticizing patients, which further exemplifies the office’s emphasis on retaining patients by making them happy. As someone who fell into the habit of avoiding the dentist for years, I’m so glad to have been referred to Dr. Maria’s and to know that I can get any dental need met at an affordable cost in an office that I genuinely enjoy visiting. read less

Dr. Maria is great and extremely helpful and thorough. The staff at the front desk are very friendly and efficient; and the oral hygienists are also very nice and professional. I used to hate going to the dentist's, even for cleanings, but now that I have found this office, I don't hesitate anymore. I had tooth pain recently, and they were able to squeeze me in that same week. Don't let the fact that the office is on the first floor of a two-family house fool you. The office is very clean and the dental equipment seems to be up to date (however, I don't know anything about dental equipment, so I may be wrong), but the examination rooms have massage chairs and are clean. The waiting room is excellent with water, a Keurig machine, all sorts of magazines, books for the kids, great interior decor.
